Is there any way to have the PI datalink 4 Automatic update set to on by default?

ie as soon as the Excel file is opened, the Updating starts. At the moment I have to start it every time I start Excel, is there a way to script it in VBA? My feeble Macro viewing tricks fail me. :(

Hi,

if you mean automatic calculation of the spreadsheet, set "Calculation Options" to automatic. You can also run a macro on opening a workbook etc.
