Is there a way to sort the PI Tags using the Descriptor Field in PI-SDK?

Hello

You can sort a PointList based on the path but I don't believe there is a method for sorting based on another Point Attribute e.g. Descriptor. You would need to construct your own method.

Using PI-OLEDB you can "order by descriptor" but the OSI OLEDB developers most probably create their own sorting method for reordering a pointlist object.
