Hi,
I am new to PI and have been learning a tremendous amount through this forum. I am stuck though on trying to create a Multi-State symbol on a PI-Calculation. I created a PI-Calculation on a PI-Tag. This pi tag calculates the level of a tank. The PI-Calculation calculates the average level of the tank for the past 24hrs. What I would like is to change the displayed calculation to turn red when it gets past a certain level. Although when I go into the settings for the multi-state, I am not able to set the right limits. It shows that I can only go to 0 to 100 and it wont let me put in a number greater than that span. Is there any way around this?
Thanks, ~Nick

I believe what my problem is that on all PI-Calculations there is a set span of 100, and I think I need to find a way to bypass that, if there is a way.

Hi Nick, Welcome to the forum. Once you have created your PI Calculation and you attempt to multi-state a symbol, you should see 2 states by default. When you select "State 2", can you not change the upper limit? I am using ProcessBook v3.2 and I can change the upper limit to whatever value I like - just remember to work from the highest state down as you can't set the upper limit of a state to be greater than the lower limit of a higher state. Thank you for your quick response, I was starting at the lower state first. Now that I am doing the higher state first I can change my range. Thanks again for the help!
