PI Administrator – Software Development

BESTECH is currently seeking a talented individual for the position of PI Administrator.
The successful candidate will be part of a team involved with administering PI systems for clients. They will provide support, development and analysis roles for PI systems at client sites.
Skills and Educational Requirements:
• Knowledge of PI or Historian systems
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years experience in the support and administration of PI or historian systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze PI system and interface problems
• Ability to compile, analyze and interpret data, and to prepare reports and correspondence
• Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of mining related processes a definite asset
• Proficient communicator with strong collaborative design skills.
