Project: PI Plant Performance Management System
Client: TNB Liberty Power, Dharki, Pakistan
Duration: 06 Months
Environment: PI Server (1000 Tags), PI SMT, PI Process Book, PI Alarm View, PI ACE, PI Excel-Data Link, PI OPC Interface, PI ICU and PI Rt-Portal.
Description: This project included integration of BAILEY DCS with 1000 tags; windows based clients for process displays and Microsoft Excel reporting/monitoring, web portal with OSISoft data archiving and monitoring system.
My duties included:
• VBA scripting
• HMI development
• Excel Reports development
• PI Server Configuration
• Tags Configuration for Plant Performance Management Systems
• Factory Acceptance Testing, Site Acceptance Testing
• Deployment and Commissioning
#2:
Project: PI Plant Performance Management & RSView32 Alarming System
Client: Kot Addu Power Company (KAPCO), Kot Addu, Pakistan
Duration: 12 Months
Environment: PI Server (10000 Tags), PI SMT, PI Process Book, PI Alarm View, PI ACE, PI Excel-Data Link, PI OPC Interface, PI ICU and PI Rt-Portal and RSView32 Runtime 10k.
Description: This project included integration of SIEMENS DCS with 10000 tags; windows based clients for process displays and Microsoft Excel reporting/monitoring, web portal with OSISoft data archiving and monitoring system. Its Alarming part was redone using RSView32.
My duties here included:
• Lead this project in all phases
• VBA scripting
• HMI development
• Excel Reports development
• PI Server Configuration

• Windows services implementation for communication between PI and MS Access
• Designing and implementation of stand-alone Crystal Reports

Client: Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Shakardara Chanda Gas Field, Kohat, Pakistan
Project: PI Plant Performance Management System (EIAL)
The OSI Soft PI Historian System solution provided to OGDCL included interfacing with RSView to collect real-time plant data (PLC controllers data) through OPC interface, windows based clients for process displays and Microsoft Excel reporting/monitoring, with PI data archiving and monitoring system

Client: Engro Chemicals Pakistan Limited, Dharki, Pakistan
Project: PI Plant Performance Management System (EIAL)
The OSI Soft PI Performance Management System solution provided to ECPL included integration of Honeywell DCS, windows based clients for process displays and Microsoft Excel reporting/monitoring, web portal with PI data archiving and monitoring system.

Project: PI-HYSYS Integration (EIAL)
Client: BHP Islamabad, Pakistan
This project provided creation of simulation cases of the actual chemical processes going on within an industry. This product was developed using MS .NET 2.0(C#) tools & technologies and is integrated with HYSYS 3.2. It’s a desktop application and it takes the input data of simulation case from OSISoft PI Server and feeds it to a Calculator which applies the mathematical model behind the actual process and thus generates the output which is then compared with the actual output of the process and hence the process deviation is calculated in an efficient manner.
My PI based project # 3 was in the domain of Oil and Gas Development and Exploration Site.
