If you haven't heard about it, then you are missing out.
It is the next exciting product under development from OSIsoft, one I am already geeking up on BigGrin

At the moment you need to find out all you need to know directly with OSIsoft, so head over to http://www.osisoft.com or talk to Chris & the Event Frames guys at vCampus.

As someone evaluating the PI system for the first time, I have reviewed the vcampus material and PI WS, PI OLEDB user guides. There is a lot of value with event frames, but how is it possible to extract these events out of the PI system ? PI WS and OLEDB do not seem to provide that capability.

Thanks

Hello,

As Event Frames is still a CTP (Community Technology Preview) on vCampus, there are still a lot of dotting the i's and crossing the t's. That said, you will be able to manipulate Event Frames using the AFSDK and the PI System OLEDB Provider...but you need to wait a bit longer for a released product. As Event Frames is a CTP, I can't comment too much on it on this forum so if you have specific questions/enhancements etc then you will need to post in the Event Frames section on vCampus - Chris Coen (the Product Manager) is always happy to answer questions, comments etc

I can't wait for the released product of Event Frames!
