Hi,

Can you please explain the features and functionality of PIANO?
Is the new Analysis Framework (AF2.1) with Notification called PIANO?

Another question: Can we configure non real time notification in the PI Notification (e.g. a notification from Workflow)?

Thank you,
Kumar

The name PIANO disappeared; it's now called PI Notification and is PI-AF based. It is a separate product. In addition the names Analysis Framework or Application Framework also disappeared, it's simply AF.

I suggest checking the OSI website for more details, especially to see the power of AF. They have informative datasheets for their products. Or contact your OSI representative.

For the second question, this should work.

Yeah like Michael said, PIANO was a marketing/code name for Notifications. A bit like when OSI tried to re-brand PI as "Rt" (e.g. Rt Web Parts), it just didn't catch on.
