I have a developer who is trying to connect their Composite Studio server (some data virtualisation/consolidation tool I believe) to our PI server utilising the PI JDBC driver. Has anyone had any success doing anything similar, we can not get this working at all Eh? I think I can see the server making requests in our message logs, but it throws the error where it doesn't know which protocol the connection is trying to use and just disconnects the connection.
Who ate all the PIs?

I guess that silence speaks volumes on this one, i.e. none of our current members have done this.
Having said that, did you troubleshoot the usual suspects? e.g. PI Trusts.
