Could you provide some recommendation for the connection of a PI server with a DeltaV Continous Historian or some "does" or "does not" from yours experiences ?

If that's the Emerson Delta V then you might want to look at an OPC tunneller like the one at Matrikon.
Think that's the key to connecting standard OPC to Delta V.
