Hi ,

I had one experience with PHD in a project and I found it different than PI.

In my opinion PI is better than PHD because I'm not sure about the scan period around the tags. I'm sure PI can store a lot of tags with 1 second of scan but I'm not sure for the same in PHD.

The client applications can't be compared ... OSIsoft PI Client applications are absolutely better than PHD client applications ...

Anyway all of these considerations may depend on where you need to apply PHD or PI. If you're using an Honeywell DCS system and you don't have a PIMS it should be more profitable to use PHD ... it is a good system ...
