Dear all,
We have to replicate PI data between two systems in the following way:
1) receive all tag updates in server A 2) write these updates to file or UDP (no other option possible!) and transfer from A to B 3) update tags in server B asap
This needs to be supported for approximately 10000 tags per second.
What would be the best option for this? PI-SDK showed only allowed us hundreds of tag updates per second...
Any ideas or help is welcome.
Many thanks.

I would recommend a PI-to-PI interface, see OSISofts techsupport.

But a PI-to-PI interface is based on TCP right? So that's not an option; only files or UDP allowed.
Or am I wrong here?
Many thanks.

We don't use PI-to-PI ourselves but I do know that is the standard being used when you want to duplicate your data on another server.
Is there a reason why you can only use files or UDP? You can also look into PI Collectives but as far as I know it is still based in the PI-to-PI TCP/IP
