Hello guys, I need some help. I had some applications written in VB6 using the PI API modules (*.bas). We finally decided to upgrade to Visual Studio .NET 2010. The API modules don't work in .NET I was wondering if there are APIs available for .NET. Also I've heard that it's better to use the SDK instead of the API; can someone point me to how to do that? Thanks.

Apologies for not being able to offer much direct help - my situation is that I'm still creating things with VBA that no one will be able to support after I retire, so .NET is unreasonable territory for me to stray off into.

However, if you will search the this sub-forum (the SDK one) for occurrences of .NET, you will probably find enough information to at least get started.
